With our humble beginning of The Conscious Edit, we take a step further into innovation. We put our efforts into creatively finding alternative solutions to crafting our products with conscious material without neglecting our quality benchmarks.
Our Candy Apple Flap Bag and Apple Toasties Top Handle Bag are made using apple leather, a unique material derived from apple waste generated after juicing. Through an extensive process of combining the apple waste with recycled polyester, cotton, and more; we give a second chance to what has been perceived as waste into a more conscious accessory you can bring along with you.

How is the Apple Leather Made?
Step 1
Apples are harvested from an orchard in Bolzano, a valley nestled among hills and vineyards set in Northern Italy.
Step 2
After juicing, the apple waste is repurposed for a second chance of life.
Step 3
The apple waste are treated and ground into a fine, powdery substance.
Step 4
The powder is mixed with harmless, non-toxic, organic pigment and transforms into bio-based leather that we use to craft the Apple Collection.

Our humble step into a more conscious innovation:
Conscious decisions of crafting this collection goes beyond its exterior. The hang tag on this collection is made of recyclable cardboard, where you can reuse it separately as a card holder. We designed the inner lining of the handbags using the combination of pre-consumer and post-consumer cotton (recycled material).
Every detail of The Conscious Edit packaging is considered to minimise waste. Our plastic wraps are 100% biodegradable. Even the desiccants we use are eco-friendly. We can’t make great changes overnight, but we are taking our first steps.
